1. Agreement to Terms

By accessing our website or booking our services, you agree to be bound by these Terms and Conditions. LAMY Co.ltd, operating as Kansai Navi, provides cultural walking tours and experiences in the Kansai region of Japan. These terms govern your use of our website and participation in our tours.

2. Our Services

Kansai Navi offers:

• Guided walking tours in Kyoto, Osaka, and Nara
• Cultural experiences and workshops
• Private and group tour arrangements
• Cultural content and educational resources

All public walking tours are conducted in English only. Private tours may be arranged in French upon request with advance notice.

3. Bookings and Payments

3.1 Booking Process

Bookings are made through our website and are confirmed upon receipt of payment. You will receive a confirmation email with tour details, meeting point information, and what to expect.

3.2 Payment

All payments are processed securely through Stripe in Japanese Yen (JPY). Prices are displayed on our website and include applicable taxes. Payment must be made in full at the time of booking.

3.3 Pricing

• Walking Tour: ¥4,000 per person

Private tour pricing is available upon request.

4. Cancellation Policy

4.1 Cancellation by Customer

• More than 24 hours before tour: Full refund
• Less than 24 hours before tour: No refund (rescheduling available based on availability)
• No-show: No refund

4.2 Cancellation by Kansai Navi

We reserve the right to cancel tours due to severe weather, natural disasters, or other circumstances beyond our control. In such cases, you will receive a full refund or the option to reschedule.

4.3 Minimum Participants

Group tours require a minimum of 2 participants. If the minimum is not met, we will offer rescheduling options or a full refund.

5. Tour Participation

5.1 Physical Requirements

Our walking tours cover approximately 2-3 kilometers over 2 hours at a leisurely pace. The terrain includes flat areas and some uneven stone pathways. Participants should be able to walk and stand for extended periods. Please contact us in advance if you have mobility concerns.

5.2 Conduct

Participants are expected to:

• Arrive on time at the designated meeting point
• Follow the guide's instructions
• Respect local customs, especially in temple and shrine areas
• Behave respectfully toward geiko and maiko if encountered (no chasing or touching)
• Not disrupt the tour experience for other participants

We reserve the right to remove participants who do not comply with these guidelines without refund.

5.3 Weather

Tours operate in light rain. We will provide umbrellas if needed. In case of severe weather warnings, we will contact you to reschedule.

6. Liability

6.1 Personal Belongings

Kansai Navi is not responsible for loss, theft, or damage to personal belongings during tours.

6.2 Personal Safety

Participants join tours at their own risk. While we take reasonable precautions to ensure safety, we are not liable for injuries or accidents that may occur during tours, except in cases of gross negligence on our part.

6.3 Travel Insurance

We strongly recommend that all participants have adequate travel insurance covering medical emergencies and trip cancellations.

7. Intellectual Property

All content on our website, including text, images, logos, and tour materials, is the property of LAMY Co.ltd and protected by copyright. You may not reproduce, distribute, or use our content without written permission.

8. Photography

We may take photographs during tours for promotional purposes. If you do not wish to be photographed, please inform your guide at the beginning of the tour. You retain rights to your own photographs but grant us permission to use any photos you share with us on social media or review platforms.

9. Modifications

We may modify tour routes or content due to weather, local events, construction, or other factors. We will make reasonable efforts to provide a comparable experience.

10. Governing Law

These Terms and Conditions are governed by the laws of Japan. Any disputes shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Osaka, Japan.
